Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6
At City Church, we believe that children are a heritage from the Lord (Ps. 127:3) and that the family is both an integral part of God’s plan for the good of humanity and a picture of the gospel. So, we take seriously our responsibility to walk alongside parents as they bring children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). Our Family Ministry seeks to foster in our kids and their parents an imagination soaked in the gospel, a posture of worship in all of life, an intent to grow in Christlikeness, and an embrace of the Kingdom of God through the local church.
Family Ministry's primary expression at City Church is in Children's Sunday School (birth through 8th grade), which runs Sunday mornings from 9a to 10a, September through May.
